I never mean to offend anyone by this post.

The Propaganda.

Vote for Taj, Vote for Taj... Everywhere is Taj, but where... in India.
Adrenaline pumping slogans like "If you are true Indian than vote for Taj by sending an SMS to <some four="" digit="" number="">"<some four="" digit="" number="">", encouraging everyone to vote for Taj to make it one of the new seven wonders of the modern world.

What you see is what you get.
</some><some four="" digit="" number="">Unfortunately (or Fortunately), I do not have much of opportunities to switch on the idiot box and watch stupid channels everyday, so these slogans more often skip my eyes. But this is not the case of newspapers... Unfortunately, approximately 6 different newspapers are scanned by my eyes everyday, making it really hard for me to avoid such slogans. They excited me to vote for what I feel the real seven wonders of the modern world. Before continuing any further I have an issue to address:</some>
<some four="" digit="" number="">I went through discussion sessions with almost 25 different individuals (not too much... but 25 important opinions) by asking a very dumb question:"Do you think Taj should be included in the new Seven Wonders?", "No Doubt","Of'course, is this a question?", "Common man, I have already voted 10 times", were the replies, or something similar. Not even a single one said "No", "Why?" I asked, and every time I didn't get any satisfactory reply. Most of them want to vote for Taj because they have been loving Taj since their birth and they have no doubt on Taj's potential. </some>
<some four="" digit="" number="">Now the interesting part: "What are the other candidates for the New 7 Wonders of the world Campaign?", Not even a single answer beyond "Great Pyramids" and "Great Wall of China".</some>

<some four="" digit="" number=""></some>
<some four="" digit="" number="">The Point to be noted.</some>
<some four="" digit="" number="">Okay, coming to the point. Reading a lot of Newspapers failed to reveal what are the other wonders compared with Taj or why they are wonders!!!</some>
<some four="" digit="" number="">I downloaded and read the information sheets provided by new7wonders.com before diving into Wikipedia.</some>
<some four="" digit="" number=""></some>
<some four="" digit="" number="">A habit in habitat</some>
<some four="" digit="" number="">We are in habit of thinking a very short term effects of things we do, where its a fact that the short term goals more often needs to be sacrificed to achieve the ultimate goal, or the long term goal. What the media is encouraging is vote for Taj, but there is never an ad on TV or in prints which encourage Indians to compare the actual candidates for the new 7 Wonders of the modern world. And I do not understand why people do not apply even a slight of their mind in finding out the truth. What we see is not always what is truth. What one gets always is not what one deserves. What if, by chance, Taj is not the deserving of the Seven wonders of the world.
"I have voted for Taj because I believe there is nothing compared to Taj", but have you ever seen others? probably not.

So what is strange?
Its not strange, its wonderful that we, Indians are living on certain patterns in life, based on the mindsets we have developed in past few decades in an incubator, called India. This is just like certain casts and tribes fighting among themselves or with government to get reservation quota in everything. These tribes only think of people of their so called, race, and failed to dare to think beyond their domain, that someone, somewhere, is not getting what he/she deserves, simply because someone has reserved that seat because they are the blessed ones. They even fail to realize that they are encouraging more of cast system or racism (instead of eliminating it) and increasing the distances between people of these races, which is one of the biggest ethnic threat to modern India.

So how come reservation campaigns compared to vote campaign for Taj???
This seems like another random question but unfortunately, its not. The Voting campaigns of Taj, in India is exactly like asking for reservation. Where people are not shown other face of the world and what I am sad about is that now if Taj is in tomorrow, then it will because of the high population of India who voted for taj as compared to the people from throughout the world who voted for true seven wonders. Killing opportunities for someone more deserving if there is one.

Are you proud to be an Indian?
After seeing such slogans, this question was swirling in my mind. Should I be proud to be an Indian on voting for Taj because we have one of the largest population available to vote, or should I be proud to be an Indian because media had successfully cut off Indian connection with the rest of the world cultures when it comes to achieve what we wanted. What is the difference between Amarica and India then???
I had a talk with another set of 10 different friends from China, Australia, Morrocco, Turkey, etc. and found that there is no such campaign of voting only their monument in their country. People throughout the world are voting for all the seven deserving candidates and we are voting for only one that too what we are the majority population of the world.
By the way I am proud of being an Indian because I got an opportunity to be born here, in such an amazing and diverse country which has huge potential to do anything we Indians ever wanted. But I am sure, Biasing is the last thing we ever deserve. Who is media or anyone to question any individual for not voting for what they wanted. I will always be proud of Taj Mahal for what it actually is.

Divide and rule: Media and Politics.
This all shows that we are living in media and politicians driven societies. Media succeeded in uniting whole of India to vote for Taj when it wanted to (to an extent that people don't even consider going through other available options). This states that India has great potential to live and work united. Politics driven because whenever there are some elections, there are breakups of Indian societies to different groups based on casts, races and religions, and they are encouraged to stand against each other, to support the desired results of voting where minority always looses, be it reservation system or religious riots. These problems will never be resolved coz media and political leadership of India never want it.

The noted point.
I considered myself a true Indian and believe that my vote has its value. So before voting, I considered investing two days in research (Wikipedia, corbis and other sources) about all the candidates of the New 7 Wonders. The ones I voted is what I believe are the true deserving ones. For me it was quite easy to find top 10 candidates out of 21. But it was extremely hard for me to decide which comes first after top 5. Unfortunately Taj was not in top 5 (even I was surprized on this). then after much of consideration Taj comes on 8th. So in my list Taj Mahal is not among the seven wonders of the world (I am sad about this).

The Belief.
Taj Mahal should be one of the new seven wonders if it actually deserves it and not because too many people voted only for Taj. </some>I just got an opportunity to see only two of the "New 7 Wonders" candidates out of 21. But there are a lot of people who have seen a lot more than me. I will be proud of the Taj to hear it from outside India that they have selected Taj.
<some four="" digit="" number="">
There is no point of writing an article in the newspaper or any media on such opinions simply because such views are threat to their business (money actually). Why???
Example: Each SMS sent to 4545 (I hope I am not wrong) cost 3 Rupees, this way they have earned hundreds of millions of rupees by encouraging people to vote after twists in the real story. These advertizements never mentioned where people can choose all the seven candidates which may be difficult on SMS. This is one example, others including, lots of Polls created on other irrelevent websites which has no connection with "New 7 Wonders" society, and are doing this just to attract more people to their sites. (one such example can be seen on ibibo.com).

Thanks.
Thanks to Fiza to encourage me to write this article on my blog when I was discussing this to her two hours back. Thanks to all the friends who are counted under 25 Indians and 10 International people I have mentioned above. I also thank you for reading this article.

My Seven Wonders.
</some>I will update this page with my chosen seven wonders once they are declared tomorrow.<some four="" digit="" number="">

</some></some>

Eye candy, from Japan: CASSHERN

Wow... What a view... First, Second and third things came to my mind in first few minutes of this Japanese, manga style movie. Then I stopped applying my mind and desided to watch the whole in one run. And I did.

The film is based on a 1973 anime television series, Shinzō Ningen Kyashān (translated as "Neo-Human Casshern" and known as just Casshan in the United States) from animation studio Tatsunoko Productions. Along with contemporary films Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, Immortel: Ad Vitam, and Sin City, it was among the first feature-length live action films to be shot on a digital backlot, with the actors performing in front of a greenscreen and all but the simplest stage elements added digitally after the fact.

Talents, what i admire most about this movie. I believe movies are a form of presentation where the whole Production event is organized to transfer the creator's imagination to the viewers, this one solves this purpose well. A science fiction movie based on an animated series sharing the same name in late 70s, giving a lot of Anti-War messages using chaotic-war as a tool. Hero is on to save humans and the villion is on to save "nature and enviornment" (eg, trees)... Who do you think should win.

Watching the scenes is exactly like watching a typical Japanese animation with real people in it. Though I am not a big fan of Japanese animation but admire the art. I put Casshern in the catagory of Matrix, another eye candy.

With amazingly unexpected events where good can be bad and bad can be good... expect anything from these 210 minutes... I even felt like crying on some deep heart touching events. I've heard that this is something which is special in any Japanese movie, that the story involves a lot of emotions of Love, feelings for family and patriotism for motherland... Casshern is not different.

A lot of irony used in movie. For example.Various characters (Midori, Testsuya, Luna, and the Neo-Sapiens) in the film wear blue contact lenses to represent blindness, disease, or resurrection from the dead. In an ironic twist, however, it can be implied that all of these characters are blind to the suffering they are causing. This also portrays that what one think is right might be wrong for other, but its just the state of mind which lets one decide his destiny.

I really don't know why i included this entry in my blog, but after watching the movie I couldn't stop myself from telling my friends about this movie so I added this entry. One must watch even if you don't like such things.
This movie can be downloaded by using a torrent downloader (I recomment Flashget, uTorrent, etc) by clicking on this Torrent link of Casshern or Avistaz.com. Actually we (Akash and me) were working on a game earlier but it was not complete and was nowhere near to complete, so I never thought of it.
Emergency... We need to submit the project in two days...
Me and Akash looked for several projects in C++ which we will download and compile and present as our project. We didn't find anything and whatever we found, I was unable to compile it successfully. Finally we decided to sit again on our nearly abandoned game project. Agni Missile (Agni means Fire, and also name of a India made defense missile) is what I am talking about. It took us 5 days, 16 hours a day with 4 football matches and 10 Gym hours in between, to finish the project and we were surprised by the progress we took at the end time.
SO here we are in front of you with the very first game of our own which we have named "Agni Missile."
We developed this using free version of Microsoft Visual C# 2005 Express Edition which we have downloaded. We are thinking of making more advances in this game and release it commercially on PC, XBOX 360 (less chances coz for that we need to actually buy XBOX and is out of our budget) and Mobile devices.
I also made the rough game documents which anyone can download by clicking on the links which will be given in next blog entry.
The game will also be made available to download and play as Beta Test for interested users, sooner than you think... but not today.
Well I was the most happiest person on earth to finish my real time Project which I made along with Akash.
The funny thing is when I told my father about this exciting achievement, his face was blank... what to say... a game... as a project. Mummy immediately replied to me that I live in DreamWorld and am away from Realities (religious, of course) which, I believe to be a virtual imaginary world in millions of minds... No matter what they say. My dreamworld gives me more freedom and pleasure for that.
Well, well, well, what I am more concern about is that i am going to display my project in college tomorrow and since my teachers believe that I m good for nothing (well, the same case is with Akash) and always absent from classes, how can i do this or maybe they won't find Game as a useful project, or whatever... I am on it...

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://adilzuberi.myaiesec.net/2007/05/projecting-agni-missile-living-in.html' title='Projecting Agni Missile... Papa and Mummy should never know about this article.

The Stylo Robbers: I almost killed two of them...

Here is the Report I presented to Police: exactly as is...

I, with my two other friends, who are Chinese, was riding back to our home on bicycles through the road which passes near the the forest park's back gate. suddenly a car (Mitsubishi Lancer - XS Sports Version) stopped by us, actually in front of us. we managed to escape from them the first time.then after next 50 metres that car stopped by us and there were four boys who came out of it and they took out the weapons like long iron rods and knives (I Believe) and they caught us. My two chinese friends managed to run away but since i was behind of them, these robbers finally caught me. At first they made fun of me coz i dont understand what they were speaking then they asked me for all the money and belongings i had with me.

The things i had with me were:.my money (around 350 Yuan, 50 Dollers and 1500 Indian Rupees) and my ATM card..
my passport and all my legal papers..
my mobile, laptop, digital camera in my Laptop bag.

I refused to give them my belongings and tried to run away. On this, they captured me and tried to take my money, volet, bag and mobile. I refused to give them the things because i have no extra money and legal papers. But i was afraid of knives and feared that robbers might have gun with them. When i tried to run they beated me with the iron rod. Luckily i caught the rod and started hitting them to save my life and my belongings. Since there was no option left for me to escape, so i beated all of them. they ran away in the jungle near the road. they were not able to use other weapons because the iron rod in my hands was long and strong. After they all were gone, I was afraid to go back alone and i noticed that they have left the keys in the car. At first i was standing alone on the road asking for help from the cars which were passing by. but nobody helped me. So i took the car with me because i know driving and i was afraid that they may chase me again. I was looking for my chinese friends and went back to home, but they were not there. so i put all my belongings in the home and since my mobile was out of battery, was looking for my friends and police.

Luckily i found police little later as my friends actually phoned them. I kept my belongings back home because i was afraid that there may be more friends of these boys weighting for me on the road. But i was more worried about my friends. I have submitted the rod to police but i think these boys have thrown their weapon in the jungle because of police. Out of four boys, one or two of them are caught and in police station and two are missing. one of them was wearing black t shirt.
My Name: Adil Zuberi
Passport No.
i request you to take actions according to international laws as i am an international individual.
End Report

Some Facts and Figures:

As you can see this report is not very accurate to my heart. I really wanted to get these guys punished so i hid some things and manipulated some things. But everything here is truth. Here is why and what:

The Time: 11:45 Night (9:15 in India), 8th October, 2006. Place: Wuhan, China.

I put this report for police to put maximum charges on these guys.

I never tried to run away. I put this just to show police that i was too afraid of these guys and i attacked them out of fear. Just to make it sure that they dont fire any case against me.

Description of the Road: The road passes just in the middle of the Hue Zhung University of Science and technology, dividing the Campus into east and west Campuses. Hueston's dorm is in East Campus, Near Einstein Square. So in order to go to the place where we were living we have to catch this road to reach a small village where our apartment is. The Road looks like a super Highway but there is hardly any car around, only lake and forests around.

When they were chasing my friends, Hueston and Alex, I was stopped and was observing them to see what all weapons these guys have. I was happy to see that they had nothing which look like a gun.

I think two of them were lil drunk as i smelled some liqour (this boosted up my courage as i am in any case stronger than any strong person who is drunk). My mind was working fast, really fast.

Nobody actually managed to beat me. Yes, but I got one hit on my shoulder which was intended to hit my face with the iron rod.

I grabbed the Iron Rod in very first hit and everyone jumped on me. I was still thinking that they may have knive in next shot. So I hit the first guy (the guy who hit me) really hard on his face, then second shot on his head. Then I turned to the second guy, to third after hitting him hard too saveral times. The third one got only one hit and ran away. I think the third one was the strongest of them all, so everyone started running after him.

They ran away in jungle in hurry and thaught they will return once i will leave. they were crying "Sorry" all that time. The only place i was hitting them very hard with that rod was their faces and their head coz i don't wanted to give them another chance.

I think they were not grown Professional Robbers. But Clearly, the reason they ran away was that I suddenly became heavy on them and was beating them like a cricket ball on their faces and head. And they were not able to understand the quickly changed situation before they had the hits on their head. And it was dark so they were not able to judge my next shot. Since i was beating them like crazy they ran far to save themselves then i started screaming at them. I took off their car keys too so they were not able to take their car back. So they thought that i will run away to safe place and they will return but that never happened. Whatever happened was not expected by them. And anyways they were standing at 10 metres distance of me inside the jungles. So thats the case.

I was really excited at that time. I was also excited for their car.

I turned to their car and took out the keys so that they dont run away. But they all ran in Jungle and when I shouted in Anger, I remembered in my mind "Daal Bati Choorma, AIESEC Jaipur Soorma," coz i felt that my roar can be heared to few hundred metres in that area... really strong. I was shouting: Come and take my money, I have it for you. You should have seen their speed when i ran behind them to beat them.

I really wanted to try their car and did it... I know driving. A sports car in front of me, WOW.

I test all speed tests of the car, all skidding stunts possible with that sexy road, the sound of tyres can be listened few hundred metres away, but there was no one to listen to them except the robbers (i wanted them to hear this sound of their car being broken badly), I heard them crying SORRY... Ha Ha Ha. Life is fun sometimes. I did that for almost 15 minutes and tried to find a police car. I really can't describe the feeling I had at that time.

Went beck home to look for my friends, but they were not there so kept all my valuables there so that they are safe in case i m captured again by more robbers.

I went back to look for my friends. My bicycle was at the spot of robbery and i was driving sexy sports car of them. I robbed them.

Hueston and Alex were in the jungles to hide themselves and they thought that robbers must have done something wrong with me (probably killed me) and were looking for them in that car when actually it was me in the car. I wanted my friends to take to Police station coz i donno Chinese and no one in China knows English except students.

We really had fun in Police Station: This is my first time in a police station and that too in China. Life is fun.

I am Dumb. :-

I had a lighter in my bag. I should have burned their car. Wow what a feeling. Police would have supported me fo rthat.

I had Iron Rod in my hand... I should have broken the glasses of the car... Man.. I m really dumb.

I should have driven the car in high speed and jumped out of it in front of a lake... WOW what a scene...

Why all these things don't come in mind on the spot. Life is about opportunities, ITS UP TO YOU which one you take.

Something for Fun:

You should have heard their crying "SORRY SORRY"... Thats the only english word they know besides "MONEY MONEY," which they were shouting few seconds back.

The police thinks I am too strong, but I think there was no option left for me except to be too aggressive. And I enjoyed it anyways. But its a great feeling that i have beaten 4 weaponed robbers alone and made them cry.

I told the police that i tried to join Army in India but didn't got selected coz i failed the interview.... ;-) (actually they were asking me if i have ever learned kung Fu and Karate, but it was not a wise idea to tell them that i have played Kung Fu related Video Games many times).

They were driving the car in style, just like cars in movie Fast and the Furious... But I drifted the car just like movie: "Fast and the Furious- Tokyo Drift."

I am still not coming out of the scene.

The police has taken those guys for higher level of investigation, and I believe those guys are having great time of their life their in Police Bureau.

Me, Aragorn (Xu Linjie) and Ivy at the Great wall ...

Me, Aragorn (Xu Linjie) and Ivy at the Great wall to China. Even the Village roads are as developed as Superhighways in India.

The WangFungChing Market: 29th September 2006

One of the most beautiful modern markets in China.

Can be used in showing image of Modern Ideal China.

Near to this street there is food market where people eat anything.

I didn't dared to test my eating skills.

Visit to Electronics Market: 30th September 2006

Went there with China MC and other AIESECers: Natille (Australia), Regula (Switzerland), Birtan(Turkey), Juan(Costa Rica), Asia (former OCP PBOX:Peace, in 2005, Poland).

Laptop computers are cheaper than in India.

My favourites are Fujitsu 12 inch Tablet PC for 13,800 RMB = Rs. 69,000 and Sunglasses with MP3 Player.

By the way there are few Multi Story Buildings in same area and they are a kind of Raiser Plaza of Jaipur, but looks like a better version of "Shoppers Stop" in Jaipur. Too Huge.

Followed by Asia's Farewell party at Liberty, a really cool place.

The Great Wall of China: 1st October 2006

Since every place was crouded so we (me, Aragorn and Ivy) decided to go to some place which is historical and free from crowd. We finally decided to go to Forbidden part of Great Wall Of China.

We three were the only human in few kilomitres area of the Great Wall.

Lots of mountain climbing and walking on steep Great Wall.

Me and Aragorn thinks that the king went crazy who decided to build this wall. It looks like nearly impossible to build such wall even withtoday's technology. The king was mad. Ivy had no special comments for that.

We were surprized: Me and Aragon were tired many times but Ivy never stopped, as if she is charged with Duracell. Not even in Extreme climbs. Ivy is strong.

Well Our Day Finished as we were very tired and hungry. We need to do Packing so we went to our homes.

Food we had: Aragorn and Ivy had Chicken and Lamb and I preferred having Egg Plant - Also known as "Bengun" in India.

We climbed some around 4-5 kilometers.

Trip to Bashang Grassland: 2nd,3rd October 2006

The Place is: Bashang Grasslands, which comes under inner Mangolia (Changiz Khaan Territory), between Beijing and Neimenggu Province, but it is actually in Hebei Pronvince, and actually Beijing is in Hebei regionally but it doesnt belong to Hebei.

7-8 Hours Distance by bus, considered near to Beijing.

We did Horse Riding in the Valley of Grasslands and Grass Mountains for 3-4 hours.

Some people preferred mountain Bike (Four wheel Bikes) and some Safari Jeep, we took horces.

By the way for those from Jaipur who knows Ruby (CEEDer from China), she is a good horse rider.

The weather was cold but dry. I love it.

Dinner with Bar-Be-Qued Lamb. Bar-bequed by us all together. Typical Mangolian Style.

We didnt liked the venue so we went to the Village and stayed there for the Night. To experience the Village life in China, specially in Mangolia.

Next day we did lil fun in nearby tourist places.

We were team of 18 people and generally no one talks in English, but I liked being with them and I think they were surprised when I played games with them. Ideas to save money here:

Start hating Taxies.

Wake up earlier.

Learn Chinese language.

Walk with Chinese.

Fix some restaurants and make some cheap food as your personal favourite.

Travel by bus is cheaper than in India.

Water is expensive in market... around 18 Rs. for 500 ML water.

But its not hard to find vegeterian food, but ist hard to live vegeterian.

My observations:

Treffic is very Systematic. I mean not even a single policemen on any road. An Indian mind can plan a good escape without much efferts (things can be opposite to this).

Most people eat everything (but not mosquitoes). Some korean restaurant even serve Cow Tongue.

Chinese movies look very beautiful. I liked House of the Flying Daggers, Beautiful Heroine.

Every Chinese girl will look alike for first few days.

MC is great. Nice Office and MC Apartment. MC Team Name: Dragon.

Here, anyone can say any bad thing to you with the most beautiful smile on their face, and you will still say "thank you." This is not my opinion, but of a friend who is not from AIESEC, but was a tourist here from France.

Young Chinese people do not have brothers and sisters. they want to have brothers or sisters but government policies are against.

It seems like there is no difference between a boy and a girl. Everyone is equal here, and girls are employed everywhere where there are only boys, at least in India.

My Birthday:

Started with MC in MC apartment (0000 AM, Chinese Time).

Followed by Call from my parents and my sister from India (22:00 PM India Time and 00:30 Chinese Time).

Followed by some MSN wishes.

Followed by 50 wishes on my Orkut scrapbook.

Followed by a long sleep.

Followed by very delicious Lunch with MC.

Followed by another 50 wishes on Orkut and email.

Finished with dinner with LC: University of International Business and Economics.

Thank you to all the friends and relatives for their wishes.

Anything Else:

Finalizing plans. Adding ER too to Exchanges. There is great scope of applying everything here.

We may organize National Corporate Dinner in Beijing and Shanghai.

Seen 5 Universities in 5 days.

I wish some of my very good friends from India were here.

Chinese people are very nice and helping in nature. I was surprized whan a girl walked almost a kilometer to show me the right way to my destination, that too when I don't understand her language.

The place I live in is a kind of an educational District, full of Universities, most of them are more than 50 years old.

Youth all around the roads.

Every second girl look like "Chun - Li" from video game: Street Fighter.

Cars with Nitro Boosters can be seen on any road. Few sports bikes can be found too.

People have great sence of Treffic as compared to India. The only exception is that Taxi drivers spit on roads even on the most cleanest roads.

There is one palenteological Musium in Beijing. I wish I will get some time to go there.

There is a shopping complex which is the largest in the world, its in Beijing.

Everyone tells me that Shanghai is even more beautiful and systamic than Beijing.

China with Taiwan = India with Pakistan.

First day at Peeking university, Just Before Amazi...

First day at Peeking university, Just Before Amazing India noight. Well its not always that you get cultural shocks, so I didn't. I am surprized to see that mixing with other unknown cultures can be fun and obvious that you yourself don't know what was yours and what you have picked. I am a Chinese now...
Ohh for those who don't know what I am talking about, next few lines are for them:
I am in China now for a Cultural Envoy For Exchange Development for AIESEC. I am a business development manager of AIESEC in India to AIESEC Mainland of China. To know more about AIESEC Plese Click Here.
What I have done here in Beijing so far:

Attended Local Chapter meeting of AIESEC in University of International Business and Economics. Very Beautiful Universities this city have. The meeting was in the university itself.

Meeting the National team in their office. They were surprized to see how I found their office without any difficulty. Boss... i am Chinese now.

Became a part of the organizing of India Night in Peiking University Campus (also known as Peking University). We had Amazing India Night with: Lots of beautiful Chinese girls wearing Indian Saree, and we doing bhangra on stage with amazing Indian presentations and one amazing Indian dance performance by a Chink and Yoga teaching and lots of experience sharing.

Had amazing dinner. I will grow fat soon. Who don't like Chinese food... Ya... I have not seen anyone eating snake in the restaurants... will try to see that...

Met old friends: Chris and Aragorn (My team members in Jaipur in Project Synergy), Crystal (beautiful Chinki one, CEEDer in Jaipur), Ruby (Beautoful Chinki two), Dextor (President, AIESEC Mainland of China), Ivy, Yuan, Susan, etc. The dinner with them together was great.

Will try my best to update this blog soon and really soon.
